Did you know? Quebec’s Winter Carnival is the oldest winter festival. The Carnaval de Québec has been held in some form since 1894 and has been officially recognized since 1955. 2024’s festival is the 70th anniversary!

Speaking of Quebec’s Winter Carnival, we were lucky to experience the event in 2020, just before Canada went into lockdown. It was one of the coldest festivals on record, but we still had a blast.
