Well, some say we’re tied with Russia, but either way, that still puts us in first place. More than 100 people die each year from exposure to extreme cold, making it the deadliest natural event in the country.

That might sound daunting, but as many of us Canadians know, all you have to do is dress warm and you can enjoy some of the coolest sports and activities, such as skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and much more. Plus, it’s beautiful!
