Things to Do in Canada 207 (Jasper)
Good morning!
Did you know? The Jasper Skytram is Canada's longest-guided aerial tramway and is a must-do experience. Enjoy panoramic views of six mountain ranges from an elevation of 2,263 metres (7,424 feet)!
Speaking of Jasper, the town is now OPEN and ready to wow you with its beauty. Although the Skytram doesn’t open until March 22nd, there are so many other things to do during the winter. From world-class skiing to winter festivals and award-winning restaurants, Jasper is one of our favourite places in the world.
If you’ve been putting off a visit, now is the time to go! The wildfire was a difficult but temporary setback and the resilient community is now back and ready to make Jasper even better than it was. This also means practicing responsible tourism, which looks like this.
If you’re looking to cross Jasper off the bucket list or revisit for more incredible memories, you’ll enjoy the 207th edition of the Weekly Goose!
Enjoy!

However, please note that Maligne Canyon is currently closed due to the damage caused by the wildfire.

Whether you’re craving a cozy meal after a day of adventure or searching for the perfect spot to celebrate the season, Jasper’s local restaurants are ready to satisfy your appetite. We’ve enjoyed many restaurants in Jasper. Terra is certainly one of our favourites, but some other options include Evil Daves Grill, Silverwater Grill & Lounge at Chateau Jasper, Su Casa, Walter’s Dining Room at Forest Park Hotel, Jasper Pizza Place, Lostlands Cafe, The Maligne Range, and Aalto at Pyramid Lake, just to name a few. However, you can also join this award-winning Jasper Food Tour to taste a variety of Jasper’s best food and drinks.
