Good morning!
Did you know? Ontario is home to more than 250,000 lakes, which contain about one-fifth of the world’s freshwater! This is just one of the reasons why Ontario is world-famous for canoeing and other watersports.
Speaking of canoeing, it’s one of the many activities we’ve included in our NEW and UPCOMING Ontario Must Do Adventure Scratch-Off Decks! We’re opening up pre-orders now, so if you’re interested, shop here or learn more below. We’d also love to know what our next release should be, so please check out the poll below!

Canadians are probably getting tired of the whole “trade war thing” but you should probably proceed with caution if travelling down south. The border crackdown has stoked fears among Canadians, especially considering some have been detained unlawfully. Some lawyers are even recommending travellers bring a “burner phone” in replace of their smartphone as agents may confiscate them and determine things such as your dislike of the president enough to ban you from the country.

Did you know that Canada has a massive shortage of airline pilots? It’s just one of the many reasons flights get cancelled and smaller airlines go under. WestJet is looking to solve this problem, at least temporarily, by hiring temporary foreign workers to address the shortage. With an 80% drop in pilot licenses being granted since 2019, this is a serious issue. Pilot training costs have also doubled to roughly $100,000, making it a difficult profession to get into. But if you can, it looks like you’ll easily be able to build your career.
Can we finally say GOODBYE to Marineland? The infamous company is now raising cash to rehome animals and maintain operations as it looks to sell. For those who don’t know, Marineland has been under fire for alleged poor treatment of animals for years. Since 2019, over 20 animals, including 18 belugas, have died there. This has led to a swatch of Protests and provincial investigations, which have taken a toll on the business. The good news is that Marineland will be the last attraction of its kind in Canada while the bad news is we don’t know what will happen to the remaining animals.
WestJet probably didn’t think about the recent tensions before partnering with Starlink, but either way, 16 WestJet planes will feature free WiFi.
Country music fans will have an additional reason to attend the Calgary Stampede this year as Shania Twain will be leading the world-famous parade.

Gone are the days of regular hot dogs and beer. The Toronto Blue Jays have some “interesting” new menu items for the 2025 season.
The World Happiness Report should just be called the Scandinavian Report at this point. Those countries always win the top spot. Canada did drop but is still in the top 20.
