Things to Do in Canada 225
Good morning!
Did you know? Despite being one of the smaller provinces in Canada, Alberta is home to the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are six UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Alberta, including Waterton International Peace Park, Dinosaur Provincial Park, Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Wood Buffalo National Park, the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, and the newly anointed Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
Speaking of Alberta and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, there are a lot of great places to visit in Alberta. While the focus is often on Banff and Jasper National Park (for obvious reasons), there are lots of other cool places throughout the prairies, foothills, and more.
So, enjoy the 225th edition of the Weekly Goose, which features a variety of guides to our home province of Alberta.
