Things to Do in Canada 226
Good morning!
Did you know? Canada has the longest national road in the world! The Trans-Canada Highway stretches over 7,800 km (4,860 miles) from Victoria, BC, to St. John’s, NL. Driving it from end to end would take approximately 80 hours non-stop—but who does that? There’s so much to see along the way.
As many of you know, we did this trip from East to West, in addition to the North, back in 2017 when we did a 150-day road trip across the country.
As awesome as the road trip was, you don’t need to commit to 150 days or the entire Trans-Canada Highway to experience the country. There are lots of shorter road trips in each province and territory.
Learn more about some of those incredible road trips in the 225th edition of the Weekly Goose!
Enjoy!

WestJet is being sold again. Well, part of it. WestJet owner Onex is selling 25% of the airline for $550 million, with 15% going to Delta Air Lines and 10% to Korean Air. As members of the SkyTeam airline alliance, WestJet could join forces to expand its international presence.
Video games aren’t just played in the basement anymore. They’re becoming major tourism draws around the world. Canada is now included in that, with the Call of Duty world championship coming to the country for the first time, held in the Waterloo region and expected to generate about $12 million in economic activity.
Cruise ships are already massive, but could they keep getting bigger?
More than 10,000 airline passengers rated their flying experience over the past year, and these are the airlines they loved the most for flying first, business, premium, and economy.
