Quebec’s Côte-Nord

Good morning!

Did you know? The maritime regions of Québec are home to some of the best whale-watching sites in the world. Between May and October, up to 13 species of cetaceans are found in the salty waters of the St. Lawrence, including blue whales, the largest animals on the planet, and impressive humpbacks, which swim up into the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac to feed.

People often forget that Québec is connected to the ocean, but having been on multiple whale-watching trips from Tadoussac, we can confirm it’s a wonderful place to see the gentle giants.

In the 247th edition of the Weekly Goose, we want to introduce you to Quebec’s Côte-Nord region, which is home to one of the best road trips in the country.
