Things to Do in Canada 257

New Year's

Good morning!

Did you know? 2026 will be the 50th anniversary of Canada hosting its first Olympics, which were the 1976 Summer Olympic Games in Montréal, Québec. The 2026 Winter Olympics will start in February in Milan, Italy.

Speaking of 2026, the new year starts tomorrow!

We don’t really do New Year's resolutions anymore, but if exploring Canada is on your 2026 bucket list, you’re obviously in the right spot.

But while many bucket-list-worthy once-in-a-lifetime destinations in Canada can also break the bank, there are also many other, more accessible, things you can do all-year-round.

So, we thought we’d try something new with this newsletter and introduce the One Small Trip a Month Challenge — your 2026 passport to exploring Canada without breaking the bank or your vacation days.

Whether you’re rediscovering your hometown or ticking off new places on your map, we’ve got the inspo, the guides, and some awesome affiliate bookings to make it effortless.

Happy Travels!
