Aeroplan recently Introduced a “Fourth Night Free Hotel Offer” for all Aeroplan credit cardholders. Basically, you’ll be able to earn a free night for every four-night consecutive stay booked with points, making it the first airline rewards loyalty program to do so.
Move over Vancouver. Newfoundland might become the next Orca hotspot. While humpbacks are common to see on whale-watching trips from “The Rock”, about 30 Orca whales were spotted near Newfoundland and Labrador last week, the biggest pod seen on the coast since the 1700s.
Restaurants have always been one of the hardest businesses to succeed at, but according to Restaurants Canada, more than 50% of restaurants in Canada are currently operating at a loss or are struggling to break even, a number that has increased by almost 40 percentage points from the pre-pandemic rate.
Speaking of restaurants, however, if you’re looking to try something new, EnRoute magazine just released their list of Canada’s best new restaurants for 2023.
Why do trips cost so much for royalty? Princess Anne’s two recent visits to Canada cost taxpayers a whopping $131,000 while her photography services bill alone cost more than $14,000 while visiting New Brunswick.
Although this isn’t about travel, we felt compelled to tell you about a 13-year-old kid from BC who single-handedly designed and coded a game that will be exclusively released on PlayStation next year. How cool is that?
